If your league isn’t 100% full of prepared owners, someone with a hastily printed off cheat sheet is going to end up with Green. He’s being ranked anywhere between 46th and 86th. Let name recognition prompt him to go too early to “Jim from Marketing who didn’t study” or “last-minute-fill-in Jim’s estranged wife Donna” (that league is gonna have drama). The most telling stat is that this oft-injured, aging receiver, with a rookie QB that probably won’t see preseason play, is rated at $16 in Yahoo. However, people are paying $4.8 on average for him. I want a high floor with my WR2: Let the supporting cast just do their jobs so my studs can win my games for me. AJ Green’s floor is the same amount of fantasy points he scored, last year: Zero. Zip.
