As we gear up to the start of the NFL season, Football Absurdity is going to bring you a comprehensive breakdown of every notable player that will be available in fantasy football drafts. The Buffalo Bills were sick and tired of having one really good running back at the end of last year and went out and got another one. What do we see as the plan for Zack Moss in 2020?
Zack Moss ADP and AAV:

Zack Moss Overview:
I love Zack Moss. A lot. I described him as “a big honking boy who just cannot be tackled.” That’s the long and the short of it. He takes good contact angles thanks to great body control and vision. This leads to an amazing contact balance that allows him to keep churning through hits. He’s extremely patient and has a great stiff arm. Moss had one of the highest contact rates in college football last year, leading me to dub him The Pinball Wizard. But, like the titular arcade magician, there has to be a twist…
That twist is his landing spot in the NFL. The Bills taking Moss does not bode extremely well for immediate year one production. Devin Singletary is still really good, and the Bills proved that by leaning on him and letting him be “much better than Frank Gore,” as the kids say.
Zack Moss Draft Strategy:
Zack Moss Auction Value: $3
Draft Ranking: Find out for your league settings in a Beersheet! (coming late June)
Do as I have done in every single mock draft I have done so far this year: go get Moss in the double-digit rounds and stash him on your bench. You will not regret this. Moss is essentially free and has exceptional upside in a run-heavy attack in Buffalo. He’s RB47 in PPR, going around such luminaries as the Pittsburgh Steelers DST and Mike Gesi—wait he’s actually good, And uh, Preston Williams. There we go.
Best Case Scenario:
Devin Singletary can’t cut it and Moss slowly eats into snaps and touches before taking over the whole hog in the second half of the season.
Worst Case Scenario:
The best case scenario for Devin Singletary plays out and Zack Moss saves us from our inevitable future.
