As we gear up to the start of the NFL season, Football Absurdity is going to bring you a comprehensive breakdown of every notable player that will be available in fantasy football drafts. We only look at the past three seasons for a player. This is because anyone who is looking at 2016 to figure out what to do in 2020 had better be Jamison Crowder reaching out to his younger, more hopeful self for emotional support. The Jets are waiting to see if their QB has a third-year breakout, how will this affect the fantasy value of Jamison Crowder?

Jamison Crowder Overview:
Note: My first draft of this mistakenly put Crowder on Washington. To fix this, I just changed the NFC East teams and players with the AFC East teams and players. Seriously, East Divisions: get it together.
AFC East, take a knee. 1-2-3, eyes on me: We need to have a discussion.
The whole world is forced to watch your games. Of the roughly 45 primetime games scheduled for 2020, 10 of them involve an AFC East team.
Please stop making them suck so much because your offenses are pathetic. Dolphins: You have no quarterback. Patriots: You have no quarterback, Jets: Your quarterback has Jamison Crowder and something called “Denzel Mims” to throw to. Those are your offenses and they all suck.
Buffalo, you may be excused, but if you lose this division again we’re going to have A Serious Conversation.
Maybe Crowder will be buoyed off of Sam Darnold figuring everything out in his third year. Maybe he will like Crowder best of the 4 ho-hum receivers on the Jets. Or, maybe there will actually be an NFL season. Maybe fire hydrants will start spouting wine and clouds will rain Spaghetti-Os.
But I’m not used to putting draft capital on a “maybe.”

Come on, now, you know better than this. Something inside you made you click on “Jamison Crowder 2020 Player Profile.” Some childlike wonder inside you that bleeds hope and optimism.
You need to find that part of you and smother it. Jamison Crowder is at-best a WR3 bye-week fill-in, and you don’t need to roster that. Just drop the Jamison Crowder and back away. Quickly.
Best Case Scenario:
You grab him off the wire and start him in one of the 8 weeks where he is good.
Worst Case Scenario:
You pick him in the draft and start him 16 weeks, getting stiffed 8 times.
