As we gear up to the start of the NFL season, Football Absurdity is going to bring you a comprehensive breakdown of every notable player that will be available in fantasy football drafts. We only look at the past three seasons for a player. This is because anyone who is looking at 2016 to figure out what to do in 2020 had better be a video game developer trying to talk themselves out of making an avalanche simulator called No Man’s Ski. Can Will Fuller build momentum like an avalanche, or will he again end up in the lodge with some cocoa and a body that is broke-o?

Will Fuller Draft Strategy

Draft Ranking: Find out for your league settings in a Beersheet!
I declare Will Fuller’s nickname to be McRib: He causes a stir, he doesn’t seem to have strong bones, and he’s always around for a Limited Time Only.
As long as you go into drafts with the expectation that you will get 4-6 good starts out of Fuller, everything will work out fine. For instance, Fantasy Pros has him going around the 7th-8th round turn and Yahoo! lists him at $12. That’s ridiculous: For that capital, you could get Tyler Boyd, Emmanuel Sanders, Brandin Cooks, Marvin Jones, or one of the many other receivers going there that would make a much more consistent WR3. He is being buoyed by people saying, “well, if he stays healthy he will be really good.” It’s been four years, people: Lucy is always gonna yank that football away from Charlie Brown. Even if she doesn’t, that blockhead Brown will probably miss, hit Lucy’s fingers, and cause her to miss 5-10 weeks of their helmetless coed football league.
But Fuller often falls, call him Will Faller: Yahoo! has him going in the 11th round on average and for $1.6 at auction. That’s great. I’d even bid a buck or two more: Having a flex/3rd wide receiver go off at the beginning of the season buys me some much-needed time to fix the parts of my fantasy team that didn’t turn out as I planned.
Best Case Scenario:
You round out your starters before taking a flyer on Fuller, or a “Fullyer” if you will. No one ever hears you utter the word “Fullyer.”
Worst Case Scenario:
You count on Fuller as a starting WR without much backup (who really goes deep on WR backup, anyway?) A mask-wearing axe maniac breaks into the haunted mansion where Fuller is staying. As he does every season, Fuller decides the safest thing to do is to run into the basement.
